1. How would you sum up the first half of the year in three words?

Three words? Challenging, great, and excellent. Maybe those are a bit of an exaggeration, but I can’t think of anything else right now.

Has the year gone according to plan, or have there been any surprises along the way?

The year has gone quite well, and there really haven’t been any major surprises.
The highlight of the first half of the year has been Saara Aalto’s online singing lessons, which I’ve been practicing on my own. Saara is an excellent teacher.

2. Creative Work and Studio Updates

What have you spent the most time working on in the studio over the past few months?
I’ve written a few songs, but I haven’t come up with a real gem just yet. I have the amazing Omnisphere software synthesizer, and it’s a pleasure to make music with it.


Has your sound or your way of making music changed or developed this year?

Yes, I think it keeps improving little by little over time.
Which song (your own or someone else’s) has been playing the most on your playlists lately, and why?
I’ve been listening a lot to the Finnish artist Ressu Redford. Our voices are somewhat similar, and I had the chance to meet him at Valtone Studio in Turku. He was a wonderful guy

3. Live Performances and Fans

How have live performances felt this year? Is there one particular performance that stands out?

Well… I don’t really perform live. I only sing karaoke and occasionally do a very small performance of one or two songs if someone asks me.


Has a fan said or done anything this spring that has stayed with you?


People have been pretty quiet this spring, but once at a karaoke event on a cruise ship, someone told me, “You shouldn’t be here singing with truck drivers—you should be performing somewhere else.” That really stayed with me.

4. Looking Ahead

The year is now halfway through. What can you tell us about what’s coming in the second half of the year?
The rest of the year will bring new songs, along with string and guitar arrangements—although I won’t be playing those instruments myself.

Rave Party

The song memorises the year of 2004 when I lived in London and sometimes visited at the rave clubs like Fridge in London.
I was memorising London journey and thats why I wanted to wrote it.
It was a cool venue from London. Fridge nightclub.

My songs usually get to release point quite soon. One day or two days. I dont waste time..
Melody comes always first and lyrics is the latest things which happens.

Lyrics tell that we must enjoy the moment now.

It tells about raving culture.
Story is both fictional and non ficitional.
There are no hidden meanings or signs.

Every listener can feel his own way how theiy understand the song.
Melodies are always difficult. I just follow the chord line.
Im not very professional composer so this style is best for me.
Seal, George Michael some of the guys to mention. Finnish long term composer Jonne Purple Motion Valtonen has been my composer idol since my childhood. We also made The Dance Of The Northern Lights together. Jonne as composer. I also respect Tuomas Pitkanen with whom we have made some songs. There is no partically special way song has been created. I just wrote it the best way I could.

I made Rave Party song by myself .I recorded it at my home. It\s expensive to record it at studios. Nowadays everybody does their stuff at the tiny home studios.
Vocal melodies are always challencing. I have taken online courses from Saara Aalto and hope to learn to create better melodies.

I didnt promote it much and people didnt listen it much either.

I loved subject and wanted to release it anyway. In this business one must accept the fact that no all succeed or make it big.Song was just a single song. I didnt get any feedback this time.

Song didnt succeed but its ok to me.

I don t play it live.
At the moment I dont make gigs live. There are other guys in the business who dont make gigs either.

Songs usually change when played live.Some parts always disappear.

Sorry, it sounds boring but not any special in this song.
I hope people can dance this song and dj\s play song much.
I just simply hope people like that song.
